That, plus the normal ones I mine, I usually sit on 300 normal skipping stones by the time I run out of pro ones. (SKIPPING STONE FARMING: I buy the 5 normal skipping stones every day from Mr. Nut trees do not have an similar OP return on investment that I have found, despite exploring baking and crafting options, so don’t over-invest in nut trees.) It took me many many days to get 200 relic ash. That particular quest is intended to take a long time though. Sometimes imps and spirits will give you relics. Just buy trees/bushes every day and don’t be scared. Digging, clams, and the dowsing rod are the best ways to get relics. I get about $100k from my trees and bushes every few days. (Farming money to afford basically everything, always: If you are investing in fruit trees/bushes, making jelly, then tincture, then selling, you get a lot of money every 3 days. You can get maybe 40 relic ash in one day, feasibly. Idk their repurchase price from Mr Kit bc I only use that strat with the animals he sells, so not sure how viable it is to buy and resell over and over. I believe you can get more than one cat a day? Each car sells for one relic ash. Very slow but consistent method: lure cats. Relics go all the way up to legendary and burn for up to like 20 relic ash. With the fully upgraded dowsing rod, you can get 3 relics a day. Getting 5 skips will get you two common relics, each. Blue clams have good returns in relics for burning for relic ash. I got maybe 25 relic ash from doing this only 4 times in one day. You can do this over and over in the same day, money as the only prohibitive item. I farmed relic ash with the following (I sold a stack of 99 relic ash literally the day before bc I never used it, and another quest took like 50, so I went from over 200 to about 20 when the 200 quest came up): If you aren’t the sorry to farm, or want the freedom to explore options on your own, skip this comment.
TIPS ON FARMING RELIC ASH (and money… and skipping stones). So you don't 3nd up w a bunch of animals w nowhere to put them. Also, the animals you buy, it would be a good idea to buy ones that are gonna fit with your decor. Then I sold my fruit as fruit tinctures, got more money and did the process again! Ofc I was broke for a few days till I could sell my fruit again but oh well! Make sure that the last time you sell them, you buy them back! They dissapear when the day changes, so you gotta make sure that before each day ends that you bought your animals back so you have lots of them instead of having a limited supply since Kit only sells so many. I had enough money to do this ,that on my first day I got most of the relic ash I needed. And you keep doing that as many times as necessary. So, you sell the ones u got and the ones you bought. I had money! So, you go buy a bunch of animals bc they sell for relic ash. You know what I did? I had 3 relic ashes at that point.
