I’ve heard the movie called Lubitsch-ian after the famed romantic comedy director, and it certainly errs in that direction, though I find it striking in its similarities to the rambunctious Jewel Robbery. This film contains perhaps the funniest sleepwalking scene of all time. And both’s chemistry with the sweet Karen Morley pays off in spades.
